West Hatch High School student wins England gold medal at
ice hockey tournament

West Hatch High School student Max Lewis is among three members of the Romford Raiders Junior Ice Hockey Club who have returned from England duty with a gold medal.
Max, a Year 9 student, represented England under-14 boys at the annual Turku tournament in Finland where the team dropped just one point throughout the weekend-long event.
West Hatch High School headteacher Daniel Leonard said: "We are so proud to see how Max is doing. He is not only a really conscientious student but also a very talented young man.
"We look forward to seeing him in the Olympics in the future if he keeps making such amazing progress."
