UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
• Congrats to Eden Dubrovsky for competing in the DECA International Conference placing 11th out 150 competitors in her Innovation Business Plan.
• Colts Neck High School is seeking one dedicated rising senior to serve as our representative to the Superintendents Executive Student Cabinet. Each of the six high schools in the Freehold Regional High School District chooses one representative to act as a liaison between the superintendent and the student body. Applications were sent via district email, please check your FRHSD or pick one up in the main office.
All applications are due to Ms. Otero in the main office no later than Friday May 10th. There will be an interview process and a candidate will be selected by June 1st. The first meeting for next year's cabinet will take place on Wednesday, June 19th at 5PM.
• The CNHS Red Cross Club is hosting a CPR certification clinic on May 21st directly after school. This opportunity is open to all grades and staff. If you interested, you can sign up outside the nurse’s office or by using the QR code found on our flyers located near bulletin boards. Their is a 20 dollar fee to be CPR certified. Sign ups end May 14th.
Cougar Sports Update:
- Congratulations to Freshman Varsity Softball player Kate Mager on being named Shore Conference Softball Player of the Week last week! In a poll that earned over 50,000 votes, Kate received over 20,000 and won Player of the Week honors for her walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 9th inning to secure a Cougar victory over Holmdel on April 29. Keep it up Kate!
- Congratulations to the Freshman Baseball Team on defeating RBC 13-4 on Saturday to advance to the Monmouth Regional Shore Conference Freshman Tournament Semifinals! Good luck boys!
- Congratulations to the following Track athletes who had memorable performances at Monmouth County Relays: Jenna Filingeri/Alyssa Austin 1st in Discus, Michael Whitehead/Andrew Abujawdeh 1st in Triple Jump, and Shaun Burke/Cole Tucker 2nd in Discus! Great job!
