Dear friends,

don't be intimidated by the heading of this newsletter – there are some bad news in it, but it is nothing mankind couldn't fix. The good news, by the way, are very good news for us and we are excited to share them with you! Have a good read and a great day.

We've be invited by the Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg and the Canada Media Fund to the Media Convention 2019 in Berlin. It's held parallelly to re:publica @ Station Berlin. Anke will be joining a discussion about international funding of new media projects and hopefully reach out to new collaborators and backers for HECTARIUM. We hope to see you there, on May 7th at 11.15 @ Media Cube.

Our friends from IPgarten.de had the great idea of opening up sustainable agriculture to the 21st-century city-folks. Don't miss out on this and if you're living around Berlin, feel free to join them.
Just a short clip from weeks ago – it's the bad news we were referring to: The global grain harvest last year didn't cover consumption. If this becomes a lasting trend we're in severe trouble. It seems sustainable agriculture is nowadays more important than it ever was. Time to act!
