Ever felt like the world is closing in and you are alone?

Granted, that's a touch dramatic. But the sentiment I mean is that entrepreneurship can be a very lonely time. Even surrounded by a team, many simply can't understand what's going on in your life.

Last week I asked the question of who "discovered" the entrepreneurs we know today? But this week I think that question needs to be tweaked to what resources pushed the entrepreneurs we know today, to continue?

This week, we published our featured article - a deep-dive with Upside Foundation of Canada executive director Jen Couldrey

In the conversation, we talked about how she automated her business growth as a solopreneur. She doesn't have a team to offload tasks to or even to talk to (she has her board and is hiring her first employee now!).

So how did she continue to scale her knowledge and prioritize her tasks?

Well, she said she owed a lot to Traction by Gino Wickman. But the short answer is "books".

They say a book is the best investment you can make. You buy it once, but you have the knowledge forever. In my quest to solve the problems that keep entrepreneurs up at night, I know that I can't do it alone. But with books from successful entrepreneurs explaining how they did it, I know I don't have to be alone.

And neither do you.

I'm so excited to share the PulseBlueprint Bookstore with you today. Every book was shared with me personally by a successful entrepreneur. This is no hokey best-seller list (although many books are best-sellers, and for good reason).

There are seven categories of books so far, and the bookstore will expand as more entrepreneurs share their insights.  So next time you feel alone, pick up a book. You'll soon find out that there are others just like you. I know I did.

If you're new here, welcome.

This email is a weekly conversation about entrepreneurship, humanity, and having fun along the way.
