Worship by the Water tomorrow
We are looking forward to our annual spring Worship by the Water in Navarre Park. You'll find us at the base of the Navarre Beach Bridge, right along Hwy 98, in Navarre Park at the big pavilion. We worship outside, so be sure to dress for the weather and apply the sunblock. We will have chairs, but you might consider bringing along a chair or two for yourself. Can't wait for tomorrow, we'll see you there!
Easter thank you
Thank you to everyone who came to Easter at Risen Savior. We appreciated worshiping with all of you and look forward to in the future.
Thank you to all those who participated in outreach and who offered invitations to come to Easter. In addition to the 6000 postcards that went out to the neighborhoods surrounding our church, we mailed out 900 postcards to new movers in the community. You used the other 100 postcards to invite friends and family. We also give thanks for Facebook advertising that was done. We invested in Facebook ads and you boosted those so that they were seen 41,700+ times to almost 13,000 individual people. That resulted in 208 clicks for more information on our website. This is all about having people be aware of opportunities that they have to worship with us. It gets our name out there. Thank you for the shares, likes, and comments. It is all part of the ministry of grace being done by Risen Savior and it all helps!
Sunday school for all ages still off
Tomorrow we will still have off of meeting for our Sunday school for all ages. We return next Sunday, May 5 back at the regular time of 9:00 am. Hope to see you there. Something for everyone!
Summer schedule times
This summer we are doing something a bit different. In an effort to keep worship the same and make it easy for people to worship with us and have no surprise time changes, we're going to keep worship at 10:30 am year round. Bible study time will shrink. We'll start at 9:45 am and go for about 20 minutes. This schedule will begin June 2.
Confirmation Sunday
On Sunday May 19 we will gather to confess our faith and hear from one young person as he makes his public confession of faith. He will read his prepared essay sharing what he has learned in doctrine and about himself. He will also share what catechism has meant to him and how he will use it going forward. Come and celebrate with him and Risen Savior.

Adult Bible study
Sundays at 9:00 am the adults are looking into God's Word to find out for themselves what God says about men and women. It is necessary for each generation to look into God's Word for themselves to let the Holy Spirit teach them. The unchanging truth of the Bible will help us establish principles for life in a changing world.

Final preparation to be the risen Christ’s witnesses begins with sight. The apostles were blessed with visibly seeing the risen Lord. Overcoming their doubts by the power of the Spirit, they would boldly proclaim the new life to be found in the Living One. Blessed to see through eyes of faith, the vision of the First and the Last fills our hearts with this confidence: “Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.”
