AWARD-winning actors Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali star in Green Book, a film inspired by a true friendship.

In need of a driver for his 1962 concert tour, world-class black pianist Dr Don Shirley (Ali) recruits Tony Lip (Mortensen), a tough-talking Italian-American from the Bronx.

As this mismatched pair set out they must rely on the ‘Green Book’ to guide them to safe establishments in America’s segregated south.

Community cinema is proud to present Sideways as a special screening in conjunction with wine tasting from Bay Tree Wine Company.

Its a classic film that has not lost its magic. While the film tells the tale of Miles & Jack embarking on a road trip through California’s wine country before Jack gets married, we will pause at intervals to offer you thematically linked wines.

We will seat the screening around tables set up to view the screen to encourage you to bring cheese and snacks (please be aware of the rustle factor and plan accordingly!).
