PARTIES
Yes, some of us are here for a good time, not a srs learnz time. If you are interested in taking the 'Sydney stream' (ie the hot jazz and social dancing stream), you can pick up a ticket to each party at the door. We have a stack of great bands, including vocalists making their debut performance for dancers. Be there, see them, brag to your friends later.
Special note: this is a good option for out-of-towners who left their decision making til the last minute. Google Flights will help you pick up a cheap flight.
Sydney is currently splendid (if not glorious), and the kids are all back at school. Winnah.
JAZZING WITH THE OGS
We are running a 'Jazzing with the OGs' panel discussion on Sunday evening at the beginning of the party. Come hear Sam chair a conversation between dancers and musicians who worked with old timers, learnt a lot of stuff, and are now working to keep jazz alive in their bodies and our communities.
TASTER CLASSES
Get a taste of balboa and/or St Louis shag with our guest teachers for the price of a regular weekly class. Yes, you can get quality learning with the people who know more about this dance than anyone else. It's nuts. And they're only $20 each.
