If you are in the Amherst area today with children, grab a sweater and head over to the Amherst Town Common to check out the Amherst Sustainability Festival and make up a play with us at 3 pm.
AND/OR . . . check out Musica Franklin's Family Fun Fest on Sunday May 5 at Sheffield Elementary School in Turners Falls where Piti's Youth Troupe will be performing their original work "The Trash Lady and Her Friends" at 1 pm.
We love facilitating young people becoming actor-playwrights! This was the second year we ran an Improv Club at Warwick Community School and the first year for one at New Hingham Elementary in Chesterfield. Both Piti Theatre residencies were funded by the Mass Cultural Councils STARS program.
