Cline Cashmere Black Magic Red 2016
"This aptly named blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Alicante Bouschet was aged in French oak, 35% new, for 12 months. It’s opaque in the glass with a distinctive nose of cough syrup, grilled meat, sweet smoke, licorice and ripe cassis. Über round and plush on the palate, it features flavours of cassis, ripe blackberry, tangy raspberry, lavender, vanilla and an all spice note trailing in the fruity, dry finish.
