Dear wolf advocate:

We can stop wolf hunting in Minnesota. The first step is a vote by the Minnesota House of Representatives and that will happen as early as tomorrow.  The wolf needs your action today to ask your state lawmaker to vote yes on a floor amendment to stop wolf hunting in Minnesota.

This epic vote will happen as soon as tomorrow (Tuesday, April 30). Our bill to stop wolf hunting (HF 1327) will be offered as an amendment to the MN House Omnibus Environment Bill by Representative Peter Fischer. There are also plans to offer an amendment to require written permission for trapping on private land in Minnesota.

Will you persuade your lawmaker to vote yes on the floor amendment to stop wolf hunting? The wolf truly needs your voice and your typing now. Use our website action where you can (and should) add your own comment www.howlingforwolves.org/takeaction or directly here

It took us years to get to this vote and it is here now. Think about what passing this legislation will say to the Governor and Lt. Governor? We think passing an amendment to stop wolf hunting will change the conversation for the better if and when the DNR seeks to reinstate the wolf hunt currently in state statute.

New lawmakers elected in 2018 need more persuasion, and pro-wolf veteran lawmakers need to know we have their back as they fight for the wolf. So please give the wolf a little more of your time and take an action at www.howlingforwolves.org/takeaction or directly here.
