What an amazing time we had on Monday, April 15th at our SUPERHERO volunteer awards.
Congratulations to Bob Handley who won the prestigious 'Volunteer of the Year award'. Niagara This Week came out to cover the event.

Monday Mingle Tea Dance
Join us every Monday for our 'Monday Mingle Tea Dance' from 1:30 p.m. to  3:30 p.m. Live music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Advanced tickets $4, or pay $5 at the door.

Pencil Sketching Flyer
We still have a few spaces open for our Pencil Sketching series. Learn the key skills and basic techniques. May 7th - June 25th. Register at the office. $32.00
Clogging Flyer
Join the Beginner class of clogging. Come out and learn the basics, have fun and get fit all at the same time. The first 2 classes for beginners is free. Please call the office for more information.

Volunteers needed
Did you know you can volunteer with us once a week, once or month, or even just occasionally? 

The Coronation Centre relies heavily on our volunteers to run our programs and to keep our clothing store and cafe open. 

Applications are available at the office. Simply fill in your availability (day and time) and we will match you up.

Please consider volunteering with us, if you can.

AGM Flyer
Our AGM is being held on Tuesday, May 21st at 2:00 pm. Come out and vote for the new Advisory Members and vote on Constitutional changes. Please note all of the afternoon programs including the Gym and Pool Room will be closed. Aqua Fit at MacBain will be running as this is a registered class.

Digging for your roots?

Beginners can learn how to use Ancestry Library Edition to aid in their genealogical research. This database is available to use free of charge at our library locations. There is a limit of 6 people per class and each person will have access to a computer for hands-on training.
Registration required.

Community Outreach Worker

An outreach worker from Niagara Falls Community Health Centre will be at the Victoria Avenue Library two afternoons a month to help anyone with immediate needs of food, clothing and shelter. Drop-in.

The chemicals used in  scented products can make some of our members sick, especially those with asthma, allergies, fragrance sensitivities, and other medical conditions.
