Mississippi Workers' Compensation Fee Schedule Amended

You may visit the Mississippi Secretary of State’s website to view the proposed changes. Once you are on the home page of the Mississippi Secretary of State’s website, you can type, “Mississippi Administrative Bulletin" in the search box of the home page. The page should then direct you to a link you can click entitled, “Administrative Bulletin.” Once you click that link, it should lead you to an Administrative Bulletin Search. At this point, perform an agency search for “Title 20 Workers Compensation Commission.” The results of the search should then provide you with a “Full Text” PDF copy of the 2019 Fee Schedule proposed on March 28, 2019. The “red-lined” version begins on page 459 of the PDF copy. The final copy of the Fee Schedule can be ordered by visiting the following website: orders.fairhealth.org. 

Wells Marble Workers’ Compensation Group Participated in Recent 32nd Annual MWCEA Conference

Earlier this month, several members of the Wells Marble workers’ compensation team attended the 32^nd Annual MWCEA Conference in Biloxi, MS, along with over 750 other professionals. Wells Marble has been actively taking part in this conference for many years, serving as a Platinum sponsor.  Firm member, Betty Arinder, participated in a mock motion hearing.  Along with other participants in this educational session, she helped participants gain a better understanding of what motion hearings are like, how lawyers present and argue cases, and more.  Additionally, firm member, Roxanne Case, worked behind the scenes as an integral part of the Steering Committee.
