On May 21, the Proving Ground makes an epic return with artist exhibitions, giveaways and entrepreneur demonstrations. PLUS, a walk-in pitch competition! Be sure to RSVP, you don't want to miss this event.

Day of Giving is May 8 - just two days away! Our goal this year is to reach over 100 donors. With your help, we can continue pioneering the way students learn entrepreneurship and inspire anyone to embark on their own entrepreneurial adventures.

Challenges for this year:
$1,250 Argyle Challenge – gifted when we reach 10 young alumni donors
$1,000 Silverman Challenge – gifted when we reach 50 total donors
$2,500 Geltzer Challenge - gifted when we reach 100 total donors

Bonus: This year, Saxbys is joining the adventure - $1 of each cold brew drink at Drexel Saxbys’ locations goes to supporting the Close School during Day of Giving.

The Business Model Competition is all about working with customers to validate assumptions, applying customer development and having the ability to pivot and change course as a result of customer development. 

As opposed to a traditional 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize structure, the $2,000 cash prize pool for this competition will be awarded based on the quality of the competitors’ work effort as outlined in the competition rules.
