Running in parallel to the 58th Venice Biennale, Phi will set up a temporary space at the Ca’ Rezzonico gallery. The initiative will present two female artists, Renata Morales and Marina Abramović, whose works reflect Phi’s dedication to explore the intersection of art and technology.

RENATA MORALES
Invasor

Installed across two galleries, Renata Morales’ mixed media work, Invasor, features ceramic sculptures of female figures, animals, dinosaurs and chimeric beasts set amidst leftover objects and debris transported from Guadalajara, Mexico, where Morales fabricated the works.

MARINA ABRAMOVIĆ
Rising, in collaboration with Acute Art

Marina Abramović’s virtual reality piece Rising, produced by Acute Art, addresses climate change by transporting viewers to witness the effects of rising sea levels.
