Hollis is nearly here!
The Kentuckian, book four of the Donaghue Histories, comes out TOMORROW! Are you as excited as I am? I cannot wait to share Hollis' story with you. When and where his story is set, the 1830s in Kentucky, is one of my favorite periods. I enjoyed the research oh so much. I hope you enjoy his story.
There is still time to preorder to make sure you have the story as soon as it comes out. The paperback will be released in another couple of weeks, once I receive the proof to check the formatting. I'll let you know when it is ready. I can't wait to actually hold the book in my hand!

Don't Miss the Chance to Meet Lola Rose...
|
|
Mystery at the Regal Rose Hotel, the first in my new historical mystery series, the Lola Rose Mysteries, is available for preorder at the special price of only 99¢. After it is released on May 15th, the price will increase, so now is your chance to jump in.
I love writing ensemble casts, and Lola has a whole coterie of quirky friends to help her unravel mysteries at the grand hotel. I hope you'll give her a try.

When Lola Rose checked into the Regal Rose Hotel, three events caught her quite unprepared: her widowed mother's surprise engagement to a famous London barrister, her desire to form a friendship with the cantankerous elderly woman living in the hotel's penthouse, and a dead body at the foot of the elegant sweeping staircase on the hotel's first floor.
When a new acquaintance is charged with the murder, Lola calls upon her trio of friends to clear his name. It will mean setting aside cocktail parties, night clubs, and late lie-ins, but Lola is willing to sacrifice much more to save an innocent man. Calling on her sophisticated upbringing as an Englishwoman's daughter and the Get It Done attitude taught by her Texan father, Lola will charm self-righteous hotel clerks, square off with cranky Detective Inspectors, and even tolerate a pompous German ex-officer to do what she knows is right.
