According to a recent email communication from Invest in Neighborhoods, they face elimination of operating support in the proposed FY2020 City budget.
Created by and for Community Councils, Invest IN has a mission is to make the City’s civic system of neighborhoods work better. Kennedy Heights Community Council has benefited many times from the training, resources, communication and connection provided by Investing IN. If you are interested in expressing your opinion about the proposed FY2020 budget, you can:
- Email your City Council members; call the Mayor’s Office and City Council members; meet with City Council members
- Use your two minutes of public speaking at a City Council meeting:
- 5/13 1:00 pm Budget & Finance Committee, City Chambers, City Hall
- 5/20 1:00 pm Budget & Finance Committee, City Chambers, City Hall
- Or you can share your perspective at a FY2020 Budget public hearings:
- 5/29 at 6pm at the LeBlond Recreation Center
- 6/3 at 6pm at the UC Innovation Hub
- 6/4 at 6pm at the MadCap Theater
