Children’s Bible Club - June 9-13
Children’s Bible Club is coming up in just 4 weeks, June 9th-13th from 6-8pm! Our theme this year is “Roar: Life is Wild, God is Good” and we would love for children who have completed kindergarten through children who have finished 6th grade to join us as we discover more about God’s love and how to live out our faith in God daily. Children will sing songs, play games, make crafts, experience Bible stories, and eat dinner together each night, all for free! Register by going to http://bit.ly/2Q6CSzA.
This year we are doing something new and kicking off Children’s Bible Club with a time of games, food, and family fun in Seley Park on Sunday night, June 9th. It will be a wonderful time that you won’t want to miss!
We are also in need of volunteers to serve in the following different capacities:
2 van drivers
2 pre-school leaders (for volunteers’ kids)
3 music leaders
1 rec leader
2 arts/crafts leaders
4 food/mealtime crew
3-5 décor/set-up crew
12 small group leaders (kinder; 1st - 3rd, 4th - 6th)
Other helpers for registration, crowd control, etc.
This is a wonderful time to love on our Calvary kiddos for a whole week as well as to reach out to children in the community around us, being the hands and feet of Christ to all who enter our doors.
If you are interested in helping, you can sign up in the welcome center on Sunday or email Jenni at jchilton@cbcwaco.net.
Hope you’ll join us on this adventure!

Faith Health Waco Update
For the month of May, Faith Health Waco is focusing our attention on Mental Health. Not all disabilities are visible to the eye. Among those that are often non-apparent are mental health conditions. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), one in five American adults experiences a mental health condition each year. A healthy lifestyle can help to prevent the onset or worsening of mental health conditions as well as chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. It can also help people recover from these conditions. Click on this link to read useful information about this topic.
Would you like to get involved in meeting health needs in our church and community? Contact David and Elaine Norris (sewgal9234@gmail.com) to find out how you can get involved.

Associate Pastor Search Update
Friends, the Associate Pastor Search Committee has worked steadily for the past three months to find just the right person to help lead our family of faith in the areas of mission, spiritual formation, and administration. We interviewed some of our top candidates via online conference calls this week and will continue the discernment process until we bring our committee’s recommendations before the church. Please keep the team in your prayers as we press forward in this important task.

Serving in Summer Missions?
This summer, people from Calvary will be serving on mission all around the world! If you will be serving on a mission trip, at a summer camp, or in a summer ministry internship, we would love to be praying for you! Please e-mail Mallory Herridge (mhherridge@gmail.com) and let her know where and when you will be serving so that Calvary can support you in prayer and follow along with your journey.
Contributing Financially to Calvary
Each week, we present our offerings as an act of worship. However, many of us pay for the majority of our expenses online or through an automatic-withdraw from our bank accounts, and each month when we pay our expenses, we can present an offering to God in these ways too. You can give to Calvary online at http://cbcwaco.net/give-to-calvary, but please note that 1-2% of your gift will go toward transaction fees. If you would like to set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account, which has no transaction fees, please contact Phil Sitton at psitton@cbcwaco.net.
Let's be in prayer for one another. Click HERE for the prayer list.
