As you know, Rabbi Susan will be leaving Wilshire Boulevard Temple this June. We hope that you will join us in blessing her as we wish her well on her next adventure. We would love for this to be a surprise for Rabbi Susan...shhhhhhh!!!!
The Traveler’s Prayer — also known as Tefilat Haderech in Hebrew — is a prayer said at the onset of a journey. The prayer asks God to deliver the traveler safely, to protect them from any dangers or perils they may encounter along the way, and to return them in peace.
Some journeys take us across the ocean, others simply across town. We hope that you will write a prayer or blessing for Rabbi Susan, honoring her devotion to our community, and our gratitude for her wisdom and love.
All blessings must be submitted online through this google form by Friday, May 24. We will present the blessings in a beautiful box to Rabbi Susan during our final day of religious school, on Sunday June 2nd during tefillah, from 11:30 AM - Noon. We invite all parents to join as we send Rabbi Susan off with the love and gratitude of our religious school community.
