Chatter From The 19th!

Welcome to the latest edition of 'Chatter From The 19th'. Our Monthly Medal was awarded last week, congratulations to this month's recipient, David Gardner. After 45 years with the Club, it is wonderful to see David awarded this sought after monthly honour.

For your convenience, we have introduced a 9 hole golf competition. The new competition is a great opportunity for those who are time poor on Saturdays but would still like to play competition golf. Further details are below and bookings can be made via the Pro Shop.

The Members Draw this Wednesday is for $1050, and a reminder this week is also our Monster Raffle draw. This month we have some great 'winter' themed prizes up for grabs including heaters, rugs, doonas and more!

Junior Rising Star
Good luck to one of our junior rising stars, James Ralph. James is one of six juniors in the squad, representing Goulburn Murray in this weekend's Junior Country Regional Championships at Cobram Barooga.

Please Check Your Score Cards
Members are reminded to please check your score cards after completion of your rounds. In some instances, cards are being returned not signed, unfortunately resulting in disqualification. Please remember it is the player's responsibility for a correctly completed score card, not your marker.

Store Credit System
Please note, there will be some minor changes to the 'store credit system' for ball and voucher credits. Details of the new system will be released shortly. To assist in the transition to the new system, we are asking all members, who have more than $200 in accrued credit, to bring their value back to under this amount prior to the end of 2019 financial year. Thank you in advance.

Golf Rule - Golf Equipment Use
During a round of competition golf, it is not permitted to adjust or change the playing characteristic's of your equipment. Therefore, please ensure you have your settings correctly adjusted before the first tee. You can however, re-tighten a loose connection of your equipment.

Our courtesy bus is available each Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm. Please call the Club on 5825 4135 to arrange your pick up and drop off in the Mooroopna and Shepparton area.
