Hi Everyone,
I trust you are all busy making stuff. The best part of my week is seeing what you are all making, so I want to thank you for bringing it in to our classes and clubs to show me, such a thrill.
I have new fabric to show you today as well as a list of classes and get togethers we are having. Our classes are popular and the shop has been a hive of activity. Have a look on our website under Workshops and Classes for a more in depth view of classes, clubs and get togethers. We are now proud agents for the Babylock Over Locker and Cover Lock Machines and we are having a launch day so that you can see all the machines in the range and see what they can do.
We are also bringing in new classes such as a Knitting Get Together with Corrina McMath. Sew a Blouse Class with Corrina. Corrina is very experienced in knitting & dressmaking (makes all her own clothes - including jeans and shoes!) So make sure you check out these dates.
We have new fabrics arriving all the time so make sure you come in and have a browse.

We are now proud agents for the Babylock Machines so come along on Friday 24th May 10am - 2pm and check out these machines, they almost thread themselves and they are so easy to use. There is no charge for the day and Carol will be here with all of her knowledge to show you up close and personal how these machines work.

Come along and learn this most satisfying hand work. You will learn how to cut out and place fabrics in a pleasing collage then hand stitch using the Boro Stitching method, and how to make tasseles.

Come along and learn all the tricks of the trade with Free Motion Machine Quilting on your domestic sewing machine. Wendy is a very experienced machine quilter and a fantastic teacher - she has the knack of getting things across to people. So if you want to know how to quilt your own quilts then this would be the class for you.

Bring your knitting or choose a new project from the shop (now that would be exciting, there is nothing like starting a new project) and come along and join Corina for our first Knitting Get Together on Thursday 13th June 9.30 - 1.00. Corrina is a very very experienced knitter so she will have lots of tips, secrets, techniques etc to share with you. Morning tea will be provided along with tea, coffee, herb tea etc.
