Alumni News Update - May 13, 2019
 
Joe Zumwalt (IALP '16), owner of Zumwalt Farms in Hancock County, was featured in an article discussing a challenge many Illinois farmers have faced this spring: the overabundance of rain. He noted that many farmers along the Hunt-Lima Lake Drainage District have been forced to evacuate due to the threat of rising flood waters. In  anticipation of continuing rain, Hancock county, Hunt-Lima Lake Drainage District officials used bulldozers to bolster the levee protecting the district. You can read the full article here
