Village Community Garage Sale

Have you signed up for the Garage Sale on May 25 yet?
Now’s your chance to clear out your basement or garage – or both.

The VCA Social Committee has:

arranged advertising in all three local papers
will print a Village map for visitors of all the Garage Sale locations
and provide balloons to mark your event

Join your neighbours on the street or in your laneway and sell all your treasures.

Saturday May 25
8 am to noon

Registration must be done before May 22 in order to be included in the Garage Sale map.
Entry fee $5.00 payable on registration.

Update from John Hawley received May 9, 2019

Dear Villagers,

We are pleased to tell you that on Tuesday we reached a settlement with Loblaws to allow us to have a grocer in The Village Centre. We are now able with certainty to diligently working on our overall plan for the Village Centre.

What's Up with the Mailboxes?

The Mailboxes at Perez and Garrison Village Drive are missing some shrubs!
Well - Canada Post will be adding more mailboxes there and has removed them.

And the other Village mailboxes on Macdonell?
You might have noticed they have been cleaned up!
Thanks to a Garden Fairy.
Fortunately he was caught in a photo and we'd like to thank Jim Wallace on Brock street to looking after the spring clean up of the mailbox beds.
