Announcing Sage Hill's
2019 Teen & Young Writers' Workshops

 


Registration is now open for Sage Hill's free summer Teen & Young Writers' Workshops.

The workshops offer the opportunity for young writers to to develop their creative writing skills with a professional writer.  Plus, the workshops are free of charge!

2019 Teen Programs:

Teen programs are recommended for applicants who will be between 14 – 18 years old at the time of the program.

* Teens travelling to participate in Moose Jaw's Teen Workshop may request a billet, which Sage Hill Writing will arrange through the Saskatchewan Festival of Words.

This year’s Swift Current workshop is recommended for applicants who will be

Mark your calendar for the Spring Poetry Reading!  Featuring Sage Hill Poetry Colloquium leader George Elliott Clarke and 2019 Saskatchewan Book Awards thrice-shortlisted nominee Jesse Rae Archibald-Barber, this year's reading is an excellent reason for an excursion to Humboldt!
 
The reading is offered in partnership with the Reid-Thompson Public Library and the Saskatchewan Book Awards, with support from the League of Canadian Poets, Canada Council for the Arts, and the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
