TETRAMAX Newsletter, May 2019

Dear Colleague,

Once more, the previous TETRAMAX quarter has seen a blend of tech transfer related activities. This includes a booth and a special session at the DATE conference in Florence, as well as the next round of funded Technology Transfer Experiments (TTX) following our second open call for bilateral TTX proposals. This time, around 20% of the proposals have been granted. Congratulations to all winners!

We again achieved a very high SME participation rate, and the new TTX originate from nine different EU countries. This clearly emphasizes the European added value via cross-border tech transfer. In case you would like to participate in one of our upcoming TTX calls, please see the up-to-date call schedule below. Each call stays open for three months.

Among the highlights of the coming weeks will be the ACACES Summer School in July in Fiuggi/Italy organized by the HiPEAC Network. Like in 2018, it will feature a special TETRAMAX track, where seasoned business professionals will teach basic entrepreneurial skills, including tech business generation and IPR protection. Please encourage your Ph.D. students to apply by May 31, so as to help educating the next generation of founders and tech transfer experts.

Best wishes!
