06.2019 | What's the Buzzzzzz?
Vincent Kay, owner of Swords into Plowshares honey, recently installed bees in the park's lower field — surrounded by a fence to keep curious kids and dogs away — where they will convert the pollinator meadow's colorful flowers into delicious honey!

You may also notice large sheets of plastic, an expansion of our efforts to suppress the invasive mugwort and establish more native flowers.

05.11.2019 | Thank you, Yale & community volunteers!

Two Yale staff groups volunteered at Edgerton for the 2019 Yale Day of Service, joined by additional friends from the neighborhood. They worked in teams in the greenhouse, garden, buildings, and grounds. We were so pleased that some volunteers were discovering the park for the first time!

Edgerton will be hosting volunteer days throughout the summer and fall. Stay tuned!
