It’s time for “Spring Cleaning” at the King Street Creative Crosswalks! Last year, 15 crosswalks along Upper King Street were painted as part of a pilot program with the City of Charleston and AWAKENING: MOTION, a series of community artwork and public projects in Charleston’s Upper Peninsula that aimed to dignify so that everyone felt safe and welcome in our streets. Want to help? There are so many ways! We are looking for water to hook up to for pressure washing, areas of grass on corner lawns to King Street to set up community creation stations (tent, table, chairs, and snacks), and assistance painting the streets. We are also seeking donations to support this effort. Everything Enough Pie does is free and open to everyone.
