PAINT THE TOWN: CROSSWALKS GET REFRESHED

It’s time for “Spring Cleaning” at the King Street Creative Crosswalks! Last year, 15 crosswalks along Upper King Street were painted as part of a pilot program with the City of Charleston and AWAKENING: MOTION, a series of community artwork and public projects in Charleston’s Upper Peninsula that aimed to dignify so that everyone felt safe and welcome in our streets. LEARN MORE HERE

Want to help? There are so many ways! We are looking for water to hook up to for pressure washing, areas of grass on corner lawns to King Street to set up community creation stations (tent, table, chairs, and snacks), and assistance painting the streets. We are also seeking donations to support this effort. Everything Enough Pie does is free and open to everyone.

Please do not hesitate to contact Bennett Jones, Enough Pie’s community manager, at bennett@enoughpie.org or 843.972.3253 with ideas or questions.

DANCING IN THE LIBRARY: ALL ARE WELCOME!
PROMISE THE DRAGON'S DEBUT: HARVEST DINNER
We are so excited to introduce Promise The Dragon, an EP collaboration with Charleston Promise Neighborhood & Sanders-Clyde Elementary as part of  AWAKENING: NOURISH!

Please join us on Thursday, May 16th at the 9th Annual Green Heart Harvest Dinner. The Green Heart Project has been an important member of the AWAKENING: NOURISH steering committee and we are so excited to help bring joy and wonder to their annual gathering with our one-of-a-kind dragon puppet created by students at Sanders-Clyde Elementary School.

Tickets are still available here, or you can see (and help puppet!) Promise at our Memorial Day Celebration on May 27!
