Hello, my fellow Democrats 

I am asking you to attend the legislative hearings with me at the State HOUSE tomorrow - Friday 5/10 - from 10 am - 1 pm. Rides available.

I will be attending and hope LD22 is well represented by strong Democrats. If people need rides please contact me. Please wear your REDFORED t-shirts if you have them because there has been a steadfast small contingent there over this time period that needs us to help support our Democrat legislators.

The opposition continues to assault our rights with unconstitutional zombie bills.

A good example of this is HB1451 which requires ridiculous procedures for obtaining petition signatures from fellow citizens. It practically strips us of our right as citizens to propose laws. An additional heinous amendment was added allowing the AG to change the wording of the intitiative, proposition, amendment.

This is what happened with PROP 127 last year and why we lost. This is where the rubber meets the road because voting isn't enough anymore!

After the session, we may stop at a centrally located north valley Pizza place (Santisi Brothers @ I-17 and Bell Rd) for a late lunch to share our thoughts and support as well as strategize for next week.
