Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms. I hope you are able to spend time with your lovies and know how appreciated you are, because you truly are. My job blesses me with the unique opportunity to be witness to the appreciation and love children feel for their parents everyday in the joy that crosses a client’s face when his or her deceased parent greets him or her from the Spirit world. Thank you for that opportunity.

This year has been whirlwind, can you believe it’s already May? With Mother’s Day this weekend and Father’s Day a little more than a month away, I’d like to talk about parent’s love and intuition. For those of you who are parents or those who fill the parental role to non-biological children, you know that love exists for a child before that child comes into your life. From my experience as a medium, that love continues for that child well beyond a parent’s death. It is through that special connection, parents experience intuition that provides insight into who that child is and what that child has experienced even without seeing it with their own eyes.

I personally have experienced this to be true on many occasions. Well before my daughter was born, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I were to have a child it would be a little girl. I could see her so clearly from her dark hair to her sensitive spirit. My experience is not unique. I have encountered many parents who “just knew” the gender of their child, before the little one arrived.

Since being her birth, there have been numerous occasions when I had insights or feelings about my daughter. For example, earlier this year my daughter awoke and although she wasn’t showing any outward symptoms as she wasn’t running a fever and she was her normal chatty self, I turned to my husband and asked him to keep an eye on her as she seemed off to me. Within a few hours she was running a fever and was sick.

Have you experienced something similar? If you have, you aren’t alone. It is common as your souls are connected. That special connection also provides a channel by which the parent can send their child signs of their love from beyond the grave. They may come through as cardinals, butterflies, pennies from heaven or any other sign. What signs do your loved ones leave you? If you aren’t sure, ask them to leave you a sign. It can be anything!
