The first hour will be quite a fitness workout, learning and performing calisthenics exercises that are used by Judoka to warm up prior to working on Judo techniques. The second hour will focus on hand techniques for self-defense. Suitable for beginners and the more advanced.

The Kampo (Japanese herbal medicine) formulas I prescribe are of the highest quality, cooked in the traditional manner using modern methods. I carry products from two companies, Honso and Sun Ten. Honso is Japanese, and Sun Ten is Taiwanese. The founder of Sun Ten trained in Japan, and uses Japanese methods of production. No camper van trips since the last newsletter, but I plan to get out much this summer. In the meantime, I was able to go on a bi-annual motorcycle trip that a group of us have been doing for a couple decades. The trip is centered in Greer, Arizona, with riding in the beautiful mountains of Eastern Arizona. The photo was taken this past Saturday near Sunrise Park Resort. Look closely, you'll see snow on the ground! Most Arizonans I come across have not visited this part of the state. That's unfortunate, as it's spectacularly different from the rest. Hit me up for tips!
