Hi all!

GeoBeer #27 is less than a week away. Time for some timely info:

Program of GeoBeer #27

As you might remember, we meet in Burgdorf's Franz Gertsch museum. Our sponsor, Geocom arranged for GeoBeer attendees to be able to visit the main collection and the current exhibitions of the Franz Gertsch museum starting at 17:15.

The GeoBeer program itself starts at 18:00

  • We will hear a welcome note from Tim Boerner of Geocom

We are glad we could get hold of two outstanding speakers:

  • First, Nicole Sulzberger of EBP will give a talk on "Visualisierung von Bauprojekten mit VR".
  • Second, Georg Russ of Die Mobiliar will give his presentation "railway-stations.org – Offene Geodaten für Schweizer Bahnhöfe".
  • After the presentations, our usual apéro riche, courtesy of Geocom, will also feature the possibility for a hands-on with virtual reality (VR) technology thanks to Nicole.

If you can't make it please let us know and thus let another person attend the event! Cancelling your ticket from the e-mail you've received is easy as pie:
We look forward to seeing you in Burgdorf and to hearing from our speakers about their exploits!
