The Weekly TickList #116

Fontainebleau

2019 is a great year for climbing hard in Fontainebleau so far. We have never seen this much repeats of 8c's (or harder)! Fifteen (as far as we know) already and counting... This week, again, we can present some impressive ascents:
Pascal Gagneux repeated The Big Island 8c.
Camille Coudert repeated Quoi de Neuf 8c.
Christophe Bichet repeated the traverses La Valse aux Adieux (prolongé) 8c and  Voluptueuse Fantaisie 8c.

Deltaroc

"Font is amazing when it comes to different styles and the pure technical aspect of how to complete something. It's not always possible to power through a climb, you actually need to do the climb in a good way.

Here @lisa_chulich on a very "mental" and technical boulder, Deltaroc 7A in Apremont Vallon de la Solitude.
The landing makes it just a bit mental and you really want to complete it with a very precise and perfect technique. This is exactly what Lisa did here"

Selected with care. Nice cinematography, great problems and proper ethics. Or just newsworthy. We like.
