• Grass courts: weather permitting, we will be opening five courts mid-afternoon on Monday! Visit our grounds page here.
• Club Championships results:  please ensure you write up the scores on the sheets in the clubhouse.  If they are not there by the deadline,  the referee will not put the winners through to the next round.
•  Click here for the draws and scroll to the bottom of the page.  The results will be updated on the  tournament software on a weekly basis by the referee.   All of the draws are up in the clubhouse. Entries still required for Ladies Singles Handicap, Ladies doubles O60s &70s,  Men's Doubles O70s.  Please note there will be no extensions to play by dates.
• May Bank Holiday mixed tournament:   This was a huge success thanks to the hard work of Heather Cowie and Claire Hofman for organising the entries/play,  Ruth Marshall for her delicious cakes and Amy Byers for working behind the bar.
• Charity tennis tournament:  Our Moon is a charity who help support sixth form children in Zambia.  On June 11th, we have offered to host a court in support of a fund raising tournament which takes place at various venues in the area.   Eight players are required to enter and are then invited for a two course lunch at The Linden Cricket Ground.  The cost per player is £20 and obviously all proceeds will go to Our Moon. This is not an event that we are organising but individual members are putting together groups of eight.
• As we approach the grass season, please keep children off the grass courts - these are strictly for playing members when the grass is open only.
• Ladies white Lacoste wrist watch has been lost.  Please drop in to the office if you find it!
• Quiz Night:  Thank you for all who have paid their entry and curry fee of  £13.50.  If you haven't paid yet and have a direct debit set up, we will charge this to your account.  Otherwise, please pay at the bar before next Thursday.  If you would like to join in, there is room for a couple more.... Thank you.

• We are advised that when the courts are being dragged, members should start right at the back of the court to bring more sand back onto the courts. You should also drag as wide as you can to bring sand in from the edges. Please also drag in a spiral motion. Further details below.

1. Please collect your child from the court 1 gate at the end of the session.

2. Please supervise all younger children not attending the session, particularly in relation to hitting balls onto our grass courts or running on the grass.

3. Please buy your hot dog/burger/pasta pot between 4 and 5pm if possible.

4.Please ensure that your child brings a refillable water bottle with them as we are no longer providing plastic cups.

5. We do have some sun cream available but it would be good if they are already wearing some!
 

Congratulations to the Men's Weald League A Team who had a great start to the season against Limpsfield with a 7-1 victory.  The  B team drew against 4 sets each against Dormansland.  This is a new league was tested last summer and has proved really successful.  We are delighted that it has been so enthusiastically taken up - thank you to David Menzies for overseeing it all.
