Oh, what a "season" we have had!

Time flies when you're busy enhancing the beauty and experience of Lakes Park. Now that "season" is over, many of our programs, including the very successful Farmer's Market, are on hiatus until October. The Train Museum and WheelFun remain open.

The arrival of summer means we'll have a chance to come up for some air and start planning for next season - beginning with preparations for Scarecrows in the Park! This will be our tenth year producing the only FREE attraction at the annual Lakes Park Fall Festival. YOUR business, non-profit, or youth group can enter and WIN - check below for details.

Gala RECAP and PHOTOS
Our first fundraising event at Amavida Living was an enjoyable evening in an unbeatable setting. Many thanks to our organizing committee, sponsors, auction donors, and to our attendees. Thanks to all of you, we have raised funds to help purchase garden tools and amend the soil in the Botanic Garden, provide outdoor recreation and environmental education experiences for Lakes Park's summer campers, and start our fund for the Music Garden for children.

If you missed this event, never fear - you can still donate by visiting "The Giving Tree" in our SquareUp store.

BIG THANKS
for your support!

We'd like to thank the businesses who supported our spring gala, "An Evening In Italy". We had the perfect night, and raised some funds to support programs in the park like gardening projects, a music park in the Children's Garden, and support for the Lakes Park summer camp program. Please continue to support the work of the Foundation by patronizing those who sponsored the evening by donating funds, auction items, and in-kind goods and services.
