The Swedish Parliament or  has approved the implementation of a new agreement on social security between Sweden and the Philippines due to the increasing “mobility” between the two countries. In a statement posted on its official website, the Riksdag said the new agreement, which was passed by the legislature on April 11, “contains provisions that coordinate the legislation of both countries regarding old-age, survivors’ and disability pensions, and work injury, sickness and activity compensation.”
