After the meditation please stay for hot tea and snacks followed by a dharma discussion from 8:15-9pm on many topics in various Buddhist traditions. Everyone is welcome to participate in the discussions. This month the sangha will be building study groups and facilitating discussions on Triratna Module Two ( Exploring Buddhist Practice: The Five Precepts )

Batteries For Teens
Throughout the month of June we are encouraging people to donate batteries for those in need at The Synergy Project. If you want to donate money then we, the committee will purchase the needed items from the funds you provide.
The Synergy Project in Bucks County is really Robert “Woody” Woods. He is assisted by a drug and alcohol counselor. They go around making connections with homeless teens throughout the area. These teens have found themselves in very difficult circumstances. The Synergy Project is about helping these people get back on their own feet. Batteries are items that these folks need. Please consider bringing some in to the Sangha when you visit on Mondays when you come.
It should be noted that these donations are from the people who visit and participate in the Sangha. As part of the practice of the dharma this generosity is dāna which leads to one of the pāramitās or "perfections". This can be characterized by unattached and unconditional giving and letting go. Although this giving is to be done without a thought of getting something in return it should be noted that these gifts do serve to help others and help they do.
