NBC News Veteran Screens Hunter News Now With Students

Professor Sissel McCarthy and one of her favorite journalism professors, Lloyd Siegel (pictured above), were back in the classroom together on May 1 after more than 25 years. See more on Siegel's visit and the tips he shared with the HNN students.

Panel Discussion Set on Mexican Journalism Crisis

A panel discussion scheduled for May 21 at Hunter College will address an ongoing crisis for journalists in Mexico, who are being harassed and killed. The event is organized in part by the Aronson Awards for Social Justice Journalism, based out of Hunter. RSVP here and join the discussion.
