Dear TACA member or enthusiast,

A couple of weeks ago, we have introduced to you a restaurant and its owners who have been a great supporter of our organization and community.  As you all know, the existence of TACA depends on your support.  Sometimes individuals and other times businesses support our organization.
We will continue acknowledging those businesses that support TACA by visiting them at their locations.

Last week we visited CAFÉ ISTANBUL at 2014 W. Division Street,  Chicago, IL 60622.  Café Istanbul is owned by our legendary Chef Mustafa Güler who has been around Chicago restaurant scene for almost 20 years.  Almost all off you probably have tasted his delicious creations at his previous restaurant Turquoise Café.  After he sold Turquoise Café in 2018 he opened Café Istanbul this year.
Mr. Güler has never said “No” when it came to supporting our community.  Throughout the years, he either provided his delicious food or financially supported TACA during many of our public events.

We had the opportunity to visit Café Istanbul several times prior to last week’s visit and each and every time we have left the venue with a great smile on our faces.  Food was great, atmosphere was warm and welcoming, Cağ Kebap was to die for, Çipura was finger licking good, and Baklava was crispy and delicious…

This is what Mustafa Güler had to say about Café Istanbul… “  Our specialties include wood-roasted lamb döner, chicken döner, kebaps, pide and thin-crust lahmacun with ground meat and seasoned vegetables, all cooked with charcoal or wood grill. There are also Turkish pastries and other baked goods”
I would like to thank Mustafa Güler for his support of TACA and our community, and wish him the best of luck and great success in this new endeavor. Having said that, he may not need much luck if he keeps doing what he has been doing.

Thank you Mustafa Bey for being a concerned and involved community member, and a huge supporter of TACA.

I strongly recommend you to go and visit Café Istanbul. You will not be disappointed. (Please make sure to make reservation prior to your visit!) At the end of the day, we must support and stand by each other. Isn’t it what makes our community strong!
