Two days left: Please share your insights on urban planning and urban design

Hello ReLeaf Network Member,

This is a reminder to please take this short survey regarding the intersection of urban forests and urban planning by May 10th (this Friday), if you have not done so already.

Our goal is to better understand how urban forest priorities mesh with the priorities, concerns, and perspectives of planners and other urban design professionals – so that we can create healthier, more sustainable and appealing urban neighborhoods... and we need your input! Please take 6 minutes to answer 12 questions.

A complementary survey is being sent to planners via the California Chapter of the American Planning Association. The results of the surveys will be included in a discussion on urban planning at the ReLeaf Network Retreat on May 31, as well as in a later webinar jointly sponsored by the California American Planning Association and California ReLeaf.

Resources to help urban forest nonprofits in this endeavor will also be provided on our website. We hope these resources will be useful to you in your efforts to work with planners to promote trees in your communities.
