CMA Class Tours Disney Imagineering


CMA's class, Navigating the Creative Project, had the opportunity to visit the Walt Disney Imagineering Anaheim office along with Instructor, Bob Zalk, and met with one the resort's art directors.

Fine Cut SoCal Film Festival Submissions

KCET's Fine Cut Film Festival is accepting submissions from now until-June 7: https://www.kcet.org/shows/fine-cut
This year they are only accepting shorts from Southern California Schools. Finalists will be chosen to be part of a 6-episode series airing in September on KCET. Three winners will be chosen in the categories of Animation, Documentary and Narrative for a prize package.  
Last year, Kip, a documentary made by Nate Norell and Nicholas Moyer, won the Viewers Choice Award and were given a $20,000 production package. 

Video Editor/Content Developer for Utalk Radio

Utalk Radio has an internship opportunity working in production for a new web and cable TV format of the show. Utalk’s demographic is teens and young adults. It’s a place to talk about what’s on your heart and mind; ask tough questions and mixes in special features, what’s trending in pop culture, chats with celebs and talks about how we can make a difference in the world. The internship would include editing episodes; organizing and archiving content; helping to develop new content as well as on set for live streams and events. Social Media Champ Scholarship from Ally Digital Media

  • Remember we are looking for a Di Caprio in art and a Stephen King in writers… what do they have in common? Creativity and uniqueness. The piece must be original and one of a kind.

AT&T Shape 5G Streaming Conference, June 22-23, @ Warner Bros. Studio

AT&T SHAPE is a two-day event featuring speaking sessions centered around 5G streaming and the future of entertainment and filmmaking, as well as exhibitors with interactive exhibits showcasing demos from real-time AR motion capture and holographic tech to AI and gaming technology. An entry ticket grants admission for both days alongside a studio tour, networking with fellow creators, and access to all the event’s activities.
