On May 5th we were overjoyed to welcome 8 new members to our church. Congratulations and welcome to Susan Alonso, Edward Brown, Cloyd Dixon, James Johnson, Catherine Kalina, Edward Ozanne and Efrain Reyes! We are so excited for new brothers and sisters in Christ!

Sermons will now be recorded and made available on YouTube and the church website! If you'd like to be notified when a new sermon is available, respond to this email and let us know; we'll send an email to let you know. Also, a big Thank You to Doug Hodge for making the recordings!

The mission emphasis for the month of June is Helping Hands (Pastor's Fund). This fund is managed by the Pastor and allows immediate help for someone in dire need. This fund relies solely on donations so please consider contributing to this monthly emphasis. Donations can be made using the small brown envelopes provided during Sunday worship, just designate Helping Hands on the outside label. To learn more about our website here.

For the month of June, the Giving Tree will be collecting small food items to supply the Pastor's Pantry. Non-perishable, individually packaged snack items such as cheese/peanut butter sandwich crackers, pretzel rod/bread stick dipping snacks, boxes of raisins, trail mix, shelf-stable boxed milk, etc. These portable items can be kept on hand for the Pastor to distribute as needed. Book Sale, Clothes Closet,

The Book Sale, Clothes Closet, and White Elephant will be open Saturday, June 1, from 9AM - 2PM. Stop by for lots of good bargains all around! The next sale will be July 13.

300th Anniversary Celebration

Rev Carl will be hosting two weekly Bible Studies. One will be a general Bible study Mondays from 1 - 2PM, the other will be an in-depth, verse by verse Bible study Wednesdays from 7 - 8PM (beginning June 12).

Travel to Athens with us - without setting foot outside of our community - and become a part of Paul's journey to share the truth of Jesus! Each day, become a part of history to see, hear, touch, and even taste what it was like to live in Ancient Athens! Explore the Marketplace, visit Paul, take part in games, dance to lively Bible songs, and sample tasty tidbits - all to discover more about Paul's missionary adventures. These experiences make God's word come alive with new meaning for all who participate!

A note from member Mary Jane McQuarrie -
On each coin are the words In God We Trust. Using these words as a prayer beginning, I have previously asked the congregation to complete the sentence with thoughts: 1st for a settled pastor which we now have, and 2nd for the broken structures of our church which need to be rebuilt and brought back to their original glories. Holding the penny and saying or thinking the prayer give a point where each of us can reach out for God's help at any time and or place. There is a unity of spirit in these prayers, something that is needed along with these other projects.
