It's an apt description and truly flattering. And early feedback suggests the Margaret River Ultra Marathon was bigger and badder than the debut 2018 edition.

Wild winds and occasional rain didn't help on the day. But we extend a big congratulations to all solo and team runners who guts'd it out and made it to the finish line on Saturday!

What a sensational weekend it was for the Margaret River Ultra Marathon!

The 2nd year of the event drew record numbers of participants and spectators with minor changes to the start and check points with course records in the men's and many team categories.

A big thanks once again to everyone who made this year's event an unforgettable experience. To the competitors, our dedicated volunteers, support crews, friends and families... we cannot do it without you.
