CMS Says RAC Reform Has Eased Provider Burden

In a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) blog post on May 2, Administrator Seema Verma reported that "meaningful changes" in the Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) program has reduced provider burden and appeals and increased program transparency while enhancing program oversight and effectiveness. MORE
