WA Women's Health Conference

To coincide with Women's Health Week, the Women and Newborn Health Network, in partnership with the Women’s Community Health Network WA, are hosting a WA Women’s Health Conference on Monday 2 September 2019 at the Perth Convention Centre.

The conference will bring together representatives in the field of women’s health to exchange lived experiences and present the latest research and evidence on the health, safety, and wellbeing of women and girls living in Western Australia. The conference aims to increase awareness of best practice gender responsive models of care and transfer evidence into action to inform the next steps to inform progress of the WA Women's Health and Wellbeing Policy.

Conference abstracts are invited from professionals, non-government/community organisations, researchers/academics, and interested members of the community. Presentations may be based on current or emerging research, best practice, service delivery or lived experience.

Please complete the Abstract submission form and submit to healthpolicy@health.wa.gov.au by Friday 31 May 2019. All abstracts will be reviewed by a Selection Panel and authors will be notified of the outcome in mid-June 2019.
