Have you got a question for your Police and Crime Commissioner or Chief Constable? Public Q&A in King's Lynn next week.

Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and Chief Constable will be answering questions from the public at a Q&A event in West Norfolk next week.

Regular Q&A events are part of PCC Lorne Green’s ongoing pledge to give the public access to the county’s senior officers while ensuring he and the wider police service are visible, accessible and accountable to all.

The PCC will host the next Q&A event, with Chief Constable Simon Bailey, at King’s Lynn Town Hall on Monday 13 May, giving people the opportunity to share views, issues or concerns about crime and policing in their area.

“My undertaking has been, and remains, to give every man, woman and child in our county the opportunity to influence local policing where they live”, said Lorne.

“The Norfolk public has really bought into these events, which provide a unique opportunity to address their questions, concerns and ideas directly to the people in charge of Norfolk’s policing service.”

“As Norfolk’s PCC, it is important I continue to listen and take on board any concerns people may have about policing in the county. It’s public feedback like that which helps me fulfil the different responsibilities which come with my role – including setting crime reduction priorities, providing victim support services and holding our police force to account on behalf of the communities it serves.”

The event in King’s Lynn is the third Q&A of 2019, with the PCC and Chief Constable already having visited Norwich and Diss since the start of the year. In 2018, five Q&A sessions were hosted across the county, with events in Watton, Downham Market, Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Taverham.

The Q&A will be held on Monday 13 May at 6pm at King's Lynn Town Hall, Saturday Market Place, King's Lynn, PE30 5DQ.
