Last week Rachel led a National Day of Prayer Event with the Pregnancy Care Center. People walked around our downtown square stopping at the Pregnancy Care Center, our County Courthouse, the Jail, our WIC office, and Family Services. We prayed at each stop for our community. We hope for this to be an annual event and we hope even more people will join us in prayer next year. We are also planning on doing 1-2 more prayer events with the Pregnancy Help Center this year.
Please be in prayer over our Pregnancy Help Center Baby Bottle Campaign. We began this last year and had over $7,000 raised! Our prayer this year is to get more churches and individuals involved in supporting this vital ministry in Grant County. Rachel has been actively involved in the fundraising activities of the PHC helping connect with local churches as well as designing the promotional material used.
We are gearing up for this annual event. Please be praying as we use this event to connect with people in our community, show them appreciation, and share the love of Jesus with these families.
Surrendering the Secret Certified Leader
Rachel is now a certified leader with Surrendering the Secret Post Abortion Ministries! Please be praying that God would open the doors to local churches through the Pregnancy Help Center as we seek to begin Healing Groups this fall.
