Road to the White House: Town Hall Series
On May 1, the Leadership Group, in partnership with KQED, launched our first in a series of “Road to the White House” Town Halls featuring presidential primary candidate, Governor Jay Inslee.
Our member company, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, hosted the event, which was introduced by CEO Nicole Taylor. KQED’s Senior Editor for Politics and Government Scott Shafer and the Leadership Group’s CEO Carl Guardino sat down with Governor Inslee to discuss climate change, jobs, immigration and privacy.
With only ten months before the 2020 presidential primaries, this series is an opportunity to introduce candidates to the Valley and to ensure more people hear their policy positions. All town halls will be taped for future airing on KQED. Click below to listen to the Governor Inslee session.
