Fourth-Grade Help Needed
for Graduation

Graduation is a time of celebration and recognition for fifth grade students and their families. It's a tradition at Lakeshore for parents of students in lower grades, especially fourth grade, to run graduation activities so that fifth grade families can focus on their students.

Please pay it forward and sign up to help with this very short event! Then when our turn comes for graduation, someone will take care of it for us. We need just six people who can help the whole time, or a dozen or so who can take smaller shifts.

No planning needed; just pick up, set up, clean up, take tickets, and serve refreshments. Thank you!
PTA Meeting TOMORROW, Thurs. 5/16 (5:45-7:30pm)
Join us at our last PTA Meeting tomorrow Thursday, May 16 from 5:45-7:30pm.

We'll vote on the budget for next year and how we're allocating the proceeds of our successful fundraisers this year. Hear from the Mural Committee and Mission Science Workshop, review the past year and talk about goals for next year, and more.

Dinner from City Kebabs & Gyros will be provided and childcare will begin at 5:45pm. RSVP here so we have enough food and childcare providers. Arrive by 5:45pm to be included in a gift card drawing at 6pm sharp!

Visit the school website for meeting materials including agenda, financial reports, and budget proposal for next school year. See you there!
Volunteer Breakfast:
Next Wed. 5/22 (8:45-9:30am)

Help Revamp the Lakeshore Book Room!

Lakeshore was lucky enough to recently get 3000 brand new books for our school book room!!

Ms. Streeter has set up a day to unbox, label and organize all of the new books and would love some parent volunteers to help out! It's lots of work to get them all ready for kids and teachers to use.

Come help on Saturday 5/25 from 10am–4pm. We don't expect anyone to be able to stay for the whole day, so come for as long as you like!

Snacks will be provided! Please email Ms. Streeter streetere@sfusd.edu for more information or let her know you can help out. Thank you!
