What a weekend! We're so grateful for all that happened at our Signs of the Kingdom Conference and Sunday services just gone! We're getting testimonies coming through, like the one above, of so many good things happening - if you'd like to add yours - please hit reply and let us know! The Kingdom of God is working it's way through all of Croydon, like yeast working through dough, and we get to jump in!

This Sunday is our fantastic Year 6s' last Sunday in their Geodes group - they'll be making the transition up to Alyve the week after! Our wonderful Year 4s will be moving up to Geodes then as well! All other groups will stay the same until September. Lesley will be emailing parents this week with more details - but please do keep praying for all our under 18s and their leaders!

Please note that for the next 6 Sundays our Sunday morning meetings will be in the main building at St Mary's rather than in the gymnasium. Same entrance, same car park, but then turn left not right! Grab your hot drink from the street cafe outside and get ready to sit next to someone!

THIS SATURDAY - OUR FOOTBALL ACADEMY LAUNCHES!

In association with Kick London, Simon Foune and a stellar team of volunteers will be offering free, turn-up-and-play football sessions, for 11-16 year olds at Lloyd Park. The sessions will run for the next 10 Saturdays 10.30-12, and comprise of skills development, teaching on values of the Kingdom and matches. We're really excited about this initiative to serve and bless the young people of Croydon. If you know young people that might be interested - do let them know!

A SPORTY SATURDAY MORNING
As well as the Football Academy starting - the CV runners will also be competing against other churches this Saturday morning at Lloyd Park - 9am start. They'd love other runners (and walkers!) to join them at the Parkrun - for this fun, friendship building run! Want more info? Email Damian Taylor at damian@taylormademail.co.uk

BOW DOWN

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer initiative, we would like to invite you to an open air event called 'Bow Down' on the 5th June 2019.

'Bow Down' is all about praying in the open – taking a 'Thy Kingdom Come' prayer meeting out onto the streets. Praying at dusk for Croydon for 15-20 minutes culminating with shining torches to proclaim that Jesus is the Light of the World.

We've invited all the Croydon Churches to join us for this act of witness and we'd love as many as possible of us to be there - get it in the diary!

Our 2nd Annual CV International Sunday will be on 9th June! 10 till 12.30 at St Mary's, come wearing your national dress and bring and share some traditional food from around the world! A great day to invite your friends to!

And finally, the Big Church Day Out takes place on the 25th-26th May, down in West Sussex! A fantastic event with thousands of people gathering to worship Jesus and have a great time! Dorothy and Precious will be going and taking a group from Croydon Vineyard with them! If you'd like to get involved get in contact through hello@croydonvineyard.org.uk
