NECA is proud to announce that the National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS) are now available in the form of an efficient and user-friendly digital subscription. Congratulations NECA Codes and Standards Committee Members

The orientation for incoming NECA codes and standards committee members was held April 24-25 at NECA's national office in Bethesda, MD.

Fourteen of NECA's 2019 C&S committee members were also appointed to NFPA technical committees and code-making panels. The following list represents NFPA committee appointments and adjustments from alternate to principal positions.

NECA 200-2016 Temporary Electric Power at Construction Sites

This standard describes temporary electrical power and lighting systems at construction sites operating at 600 volts or less.

It covers the planning, installation, expansion, maintenance, cutover and removal of the temporary power system. It is intended to ensure a safe, adequate, functional and reliable temporary electrical power system for all trades at construction sites.
