Wyoming CSA Members,
I just have to tell you that our 2019 Spring Meeting was great!
Deanna and her team from Memorial Hospital of Converse County were wonderful hosts! Their boots-on-the-ground work to make our meeting a success is much appreciated! This will be a meeting to remember; only in Wyoming do you have to take a right on a gravel road, park behind the gates, stagger down the road, and jump the curing asphalt to make it in the building. Darn Wyoming weather had construction behind schedule. One of the things a love most is the ability of our group to be adaptable. The networking of our group is so on-point at a personal level and we could reach almost everyone via cell phone at 7:00 am to keep you up-to-date on the challenges of parking.
For those that were not able to attend, we missed you! We have several tasks before us to continue our work keeping the group engaged and interacting with each other. We want to encourage everyone to use the Engage Community, Wyoming page, to keep the conversations going for best practice, coding and of course the dreaded denial management navigation.
I am excited to share that we have volunteers for a Nominating and Spring Meeting 2020 committee's. In keeping with tradition our tentative date will be May 14, 2020, location to be determined. If your facility would be interested in hosting please reach out to any board member. If we have more than one respond we will have the membership vote on the location. Our CSA survey is due by the end of June and I would love to be able to provide our details to AHIMA at that time. It would also allow for everyone to mark your calendars and plan to attend.
Let's keep the momentum going!
Respectfully Yours in Service,
Sarah Reynolds, CCS
WYHIMA President
